Founded in 2019, the riad was born from a shared dream between two cultures. The Belgian father and Moroccan mother combined their roots to create a place that reflects their personalities: warm, authentic, and deeply human. Their passion for hospitality, their love for Morocco, and their attention to detail gave birth to this peaceful haven, where every stone tells a story. The name “Noumidya” draws its inspiration from the ancient Amazigh kingdom of Numidia (in Amazigh: ⵜⴰⵎⴰⵣⵉⵖⵜ in Tifinagh script), 22 centuries ago. This choice of name is not insignificant: it reflects our attachment to our origins, to the land, and to the spirit of hospitality that transcends centuries.
For us, family is at the center of everything. It is in this intimate and caring atmosphere that we welcome our guests, as if they were already part of our world.
